Building loyal viewers to your web show, audio podcast or even a text-based blog is your most important asset. Not only is it super important, it’s super easy.
How much time out of your day could it take? At first, a few minutes but later it may take an hour or so to cover all the comments. But, as Gary Vaynerchuck would say, “Caring doesn’t scale” and that, to me, is what makes it so valuable.
Companies that grow large and build a customer caring group are those that will maintain the biggest fan followers. Sometimes all it will take is a simple “thank you” while other times you’ll spend 10 to 20 minutes research answers to the questions you’ve been asked. In the end, you may learn something about the topic as well and the viewer asking the question will feel like you actually care.
Why? Because you took precious time out of your day to correspond with useful information.
